Job Description

The North Country Career Centers Land Lab is a facility that provides a hands-on teaching environment for students interested in pursuing careers in either the Forestry, Building Trades or Heavy Equipment Operations industries. This facility includes both indoor and outdoor educational experiences for students.Qualifications: ?High school diploma. ?5 years of experience working the trades/industry preferred to be either: Forestry, Building Trades, or Heavy Equipment?Knowledge of safety regulations in trades/industry?Ability to work effectively with staff and students.?A general knowledge of the goals of career & technical education.Duties include: ?Assist program instructor(s) in teaching skills, safety, and curriculum related to Industry Recognized Credentials.?Assist program instructor(s) in the lab portion of the program.?Duties as assigned by the program instructor(s) and NCCC directorTerms of Employment: School Session: not to exceed 8 hours per day unless authorized by NCCC Director. FLSA status is non-exempt.Salary & Benefits: Salary and benefits will follow NCUHS support staff agreement.
