Job Description
M ust be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph.
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4:30PM – 2:30AM (4x10s)
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs minor carpentry construction work such as ceiling tile, floor tile and carpet installation.
- Perform minor building and grounds carpentry maintenance such as ceiling tile, floor tile and carpet replacement.
- Hangs pictures, signs and other minor fixtures as directed.
- Under direction of Carpenter Grade I, performs general work order completion such as general masonry, concrete, demolition, and debris removal.
- Perform related work as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Two (2) years’ experience in trade or building maintenance.
- High school, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalent required.
- Possess general knowledge of the carpentry trade.
- Must be able to operate small power tools and machinery as required.
- Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions.
- A willingness to work shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to write correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Have an active Top Secret security clearance.
