Full Time (40 hours)

Rotating shift, 5:00 am – 9:00 pm

Weekend work required

Position Summary:
Reports to the Nutrition Assistant Supervisor. Works independently and implements the nutrition meal plan as ordered by the physician and as planned by the clinical dietitian.

Education:
Requires high school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience:
A minimum of 1 years » customer service or call center experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Requires excellent customer service skills to interact with medical staff, patients, family, and other hospital employees.
  • Requires strong basic math skills and reading comprehension.
  • Requires analytic ability to determine patient adherence to nutritional plans and dietary restrictions.
  • Ability to learn and operate general office equipment.
  • Must be proficient with personal computers and be able to utilize the department software programs.
  • Requires flexibility to cross train and subsequently over multiple teams.
