Job Description
Working on complex machined components for use in the Subsea and Oil & Gas markets, this impressive precision engineering organisation can offer a skilled CNC Miller the chance to manage the machining process from drawing to finished article.
Employing around 50 people, this precision engineering organisation sub contract their machining services to high profile companies operating in the Flow Control, Oil & Gas and Subsea industries. Because of recent investment into their machining capabilities, the company is now looking to recruit a skilled CNC Miller to increase their production output.
Because of continued demand of their services, as well as significant investment into their machining capabilities, this impressive precision engineering organisation are now searching for a CNC Miller to join their team on a permanent basis.
Based in Leeds, the CNC Miller can easily commute from Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Wetherby, Pontefract, Harrogate and York.
The CNC Miller will be:
- Setting and operating a number of Machining Centres to produce machined components, ensuring that specifications and quality standards are achieved
- Creating new programs, as well as editing existing programs using Fanuc controls and CAD/CAM software (MasterCAM / Fusion360 / Autodesk Inventor)
- Reading, interpreting and working directly from engineering drawings and with a variety of exotic materials such as Inconel, Duplex and Titanium.
CNC Miller position details:
- Renumeration: Between £31,200.00 – £35,360.00 per annum
- Regular Overtime available paid at 150%
- Working Hours: Weekly rotating AM/PM shifts – 40 hours per week
- AM Shift
- Monday to Thursday – 06:00 to 14:00
- Friday – 06:00 to 11:00
- PM Shift
- Monday to Thursday – 14:00 to 00:00
- AM Shift
- Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days per annum
The successful CNC Miller will join a progressive manufacturing business that produces complex products and components for a number of demanding industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished machinist to work off of their own initiative and manage the machining process from drawing to finished article.
