Job Description
- Database Development and Management
- Partners in integrating data from multiple sources to create relational databases for the purpose of advanced reporting using SQL
- Maintains Linux server-based infrastructure, and CRON automated scheduling processes
- Performs detailed QA/QC
- Programming and Data Processing
- Facilitates programming of pre-processing and metadata extraction pipelines for audio/video, neuroimaging, and other research data using python
- Writes code to create, score, and manage behavioral and psychological assessment databases
- Utilizes version control software to promote reproducibility
- Data Visualization and Reporting
- Extracts and recombines datasets for analysis in R
- Creates data visualizations and reports for end users
- Project Coordination
- Meets and communicates effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Coordinates projects and keeps detailed documentation
- Supports clinical research staff in using data management best practices
- One (1) year of data analysis or database management experience.
- Two (2) years of programming and database management experience.
- One (1) year of clinical research experience, including knowledge of IRB, informed consent, HIPAA, and human subjects research protections.
- Experience with python or similar programming language.
- Experience with Linux command line interface and server-based infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of database management, mining, analysis and statistics.
- Intermediate knowledge of programming languages
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software
- Advanced proficiency with database management systems
- Advanced proficiency with data mining and analysis tools
- Basic proficiency with office software including word processing and presentation software
