About the Role
Saffron Health Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dispenser to join our friendly and supportive team. The role will be on a part-time basis on a 16 hour contract.
The role is dealing with all aspects of the Dispensary including:
- Issues of repeats – paper and EPS from paper or online requests
- Monitoring of medication reviews
- Dealing with all patient enquiries and liaising with the clinical team
- Preparing and dispensing medication
- NHS script and non NHS fees
- Endorsing prescriptions and preparing scripts for PPD submission
- Ordering and accepting deliveries and “checking in” of stock
- Follow SOP’s(standard operating procedures) in line with good practice and Dispensing Services Quality Scheme
About the Candidate
If you are wanting a new challenge in your career, we would love to hear from you.Training to NVQ level 2 in Dispensing (equiv.) preferred but training will be considered for the right candidate.
The person will need basic computer skills,organisational skills and the ability to work alone in the Dispensary once training has been completed.
About Us
We are a friendly, established practice located in Biggleswade close to Biggleswade train station. The practice is made up of 3 sites located in Biggleswade, Sandy and Langford. All our staff work across the 3 sites. Our list size is currently just over 21,000. We use SystmOne.
We have a fantastic team of ANPs, ECPs, PNs, HCAs, Dispensers. Pharmacy Technicians and a supportive admin team working with our 9 GPs ensuring a good mix of skills.
