Job Description
Main Purpose of the role: Visit multiple properties per day to produce accurate Energy Performance Certificates for marketing within the agreed timescales.
Location: Various locations across London
Salary: 25K+5K bonus, mileage allowance and up to £1.2K equipment allowance after probation (up to 34K total)
Key Responsibilities
- EPC generation and lodgement
- Assessing homes for alternative heating systems and other energy efficiency products.
- Liaise with Bookings Administrators, Sales and Lettings offices and external clients
- Return completed work to offices within required deadlines
- Respond to internal or external queries
- Produce high quality photographs and floor plans for our Sales and Letting offices (training provided)
Requirements & Skills
- Customer focused and good communicator
- A Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment
- An understanding of the laws surrounding the role
- IT skills for using software to produce the EPC
- The ability to explain the EPC clearly to clients
- The ability to work well with a wide range of people
- Good observational skills
- The ability to take accurate measurements
- The ability to keep legible, complete and accurate records
- Knowledge of construction methods, construction materials and heating systems
- Able to work independently as well as part of team
- Good time-management skills
- Good general knowledge of London Area
- Driving Licence and personal car
Desirable
- Knowledge of producing floor plans
- Experience photographing residential properties
- Commercial or on-construction accreditation
