Job Description
Job Purpose: Provides assistance in the maintenance of equipment used in the collection and delivery of company product on CMV in a safe and effective manner. Does not operate a CMV or vehicle over 10,000 lbs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean/wash work area, machines, containers, trailers, vehicles and/or equipment
- Use a power washer to clean equipment
- Use chemicals with proper PPE provided
- The Driver Helper with a regular Drivers License is only able to drive a vehicle under 10,000 lbs.
- Assist with container maintenance, pick-up and delivery (as needed) in an appropriate vehicle
- Will assist Drivers with the loading and unloading of route trucks
- Move material within facility using equipment like forklift and bobcat as needed
- Operate truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products safely throughout the facility
- Assist with completing and verifying paperwork for accuracy
- Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner
- Follow department and company procedures
- Keep up regular attendance and punctuality; regular attendance and punctuality are essential for the smooth operation of this company
