Job Description

We’re looking for an Environmental Advisor to join the Scotland region on a large scale MOJ project.

Location: Project based in Glasgow with the opportunity for some home working

Business area: Kier Construction, Northern and Scotland

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Responsibilities

You will be part of a network of environmental professionals providing specialist environmental and sustainability advice and support with a specific focus on a large scale and complex MOJ project. We need your skills to enable the development process. We want to ensure that environmental risks are identified early, and solutions integrated seamlessly into the project design and its construction. We also want to ensure that our customers benefit fully by deploying long-term sustainable solutions, considering development lifecycle, occupancy and climate resilience within our award-winning projects.

Your day to day will include:

  • Identifying environmental risks for the project design and construction.
  • Provide environmental & sustainability advice
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and subcontractors to ensure long term sustainability solutions

Who are we looking for?

  • Ideally you will have experience from a similar role within the construction industry
  • You’ll be proficient in the use of MS Office and BREEAM experience
  • Understanding of the Scottish legislation including CAR regulations
