AECOM is seeking an Estimator to be based in Indianapolis, IN.
This position is expected to begin in May 2023.
Job Summary:
- Introduced to the Company estimating systems and processes.
- Introduced to estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for preparing estimates.
- Exposed to various processes, project actions and assumptions that may impact estimates.
- Gathers, calculates and compiles data for use in developing all types of estimates.
- Performs the routine aspects of estimating assignments. Assists senior specialists in performing various estimating functions as required.
- Exposed to drawings, specifications, work breakdown structures, charts of accounts, published and internal data used in preparing estimates.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide quantitative or qualitative outcomes to be leveraged in building or environmental impact projects
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor »s degree + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.
