Finance officer
- Assist in the co-ordination of budget and quarterly forecast information from all budget holders
- Import budgets and forecasts into the accounting system
- Support budget holders to use the Jedox budgeting software to complete their budget submission
- Distribute budget reports to all budget holders
- Prepare and distribute monthly salary and expenditure reports to budget holders
- Post relevant accrual and prepayment journals monthly
- Prepare monthly management accounting reports for FP&A Manager review
- Investigate and resolve any issues raised by budget holders
- Reconcile relevant balance sheet accounts on a quarterly basis including accrual and prepayment control accounts
- Work flexibly and co-operatively as part of the team and the Finance Department
- Is numerate and confident with figures
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage their own workload
- Excellent attention to detail
- Approachable and open behaviour
- Prefers working as part of a group or team
- Is respectful, articulate, and sensitive in style of communication
- Is passionate and enthusiastic about their career and job experiences

- Studying or looking to study for a relevant professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA or AAT)
- Strong Excel skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Desire to progress their professional accountancy qualification
- Experience working in a professional/office environment
- Experience working as part of a team
- Degree or equivalent
- Experience in a finance or accounting related role
