Governance Officer
- Assisting with the Board pack production and using the Diligent portal for uploading governance documents
- Proof reading Board and committee and governance meeting’s papers to a high standard
- Supporting the annual board and committee appraisal process by diarising and managing calendars
- Manging the insurance claims and associated administration and correspondence, and liaising with colleagues and insurers
- Process expense claims
- Process invoices on Concur
- Manage confidential information and record keeping ensuring a high level of integrity in dealing with confidential matters
- Collate papers, documents and minutes to service and arrange the Level 3 governance meetings in an appropriate and competent manner
- Organise yearly Board member service visits.
- Coordinate and arrange Board member induction meetings
- Maintain the filing systems set up within the SharePoint folders
- Support and assist Board members with IT and Diligent access queries
- Book travel requirements for Board members as required
- Support the EA team to prepare the meeting space and arrangements for board meetings
- Ensuring the CQC registration tracker is maintained and kept up to date as required
- Any other duties as required to support the governance team and other colleagues

- Excellent multi-tasker
- A good minute taker, or willing to learn and attend a course and support Level 3 meetings
- An understanding of good governance as a general concept and understanding the importance of maintaining accurate governance records
- Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills with a focus on outcomes
- Previous experience in a governance lead environment
- Working towards CGI qualification or similar
