What is the opportunity?
The Equity Derivatives Technology team is undergoing a large-scale renovation exercise, creating a brand-new risk, pricing and valuation reporting stack from the ground up. This will enable us to simplify our technology real-estate, manage operational risk more effectively, and grow our business into a world-class franchise. In this role you will be responsible for leading a talented team of business-facing technologists to build a flexible, scalable platform that can be used across a wide number of products primarily within the Equity domain and beyond.
What will you do?
- There will be a particular focus on moving critical spreadsheets maintained by the trading desk and RAD team onto strategic industrialized solutions.
- Development management – ensure that development activities are run to the highest standards, utilizing modern DevOps & Agile practices.
- Architecture strategy – review and opine on the overall architecture of the system, ensuring that it is supportable, robust, scalable, etc.
- Technology leadership – lead a team of hungry technologists, helping them with their personal and professional goals.
- Collaborative IT and business partnership – work closely with our stakeholders to ensure that we are completely aligned.
- Contribute to ongoing administrative program activities – as required, such as risk/compliance issues, audit items, upgrades, etc.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $180K – $250K depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
