Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Team is responsible for the management of inventory spread across all RMD sites. As the Inventory Control Lead (Manager, Logistics) you’re the head of this centralized functional organization and will be responsible for multiple Inventory Management processes including cycle count processes, and oversight of material reviews in the warehouse. You’ll also be responsible for developing and managing a team of support personnel who resolve inventory system-related issues. This is a highly collaborative role that will partner with production control, warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, planning and other operational organizations.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Ability to read situations and make quick and logical decisions founded on MRP/ERP principles and broad understanding of the end-to-end supply chain value stream
  • Ability to support training and understanding of concepts across the team
  • Daily activity will require excellent analytic skills, in order to analyze inventory management issues, working to determine root cause, and develop corrective actions; develop skills and analytic capability in the Inventory Control organization
  • Conduct inventory management analysis and identify improvement opportunities by assessing current processes/practices
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects with regards to inventory management
  • Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards related to inventory management through MRP/ERP system

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
  • Experience with Systems Analysis Program (SAP)
  • Prior Leadership experience of being a leader of leaders
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
