As part of our great team in Mercedes-Benz Trucks, we are happy to be sharing an opportunity to come and work for us as our new Part Time Used Sales Administrator at our dedicated and purpose-built truck facility called Wentworth Park located in Barnsley. The successful candidates will support new truck sales and downstream revenues by supporting the used truck market. You will process and remarket returning vehicles efficiently and maintain used truck values sold from Wentworth Park and by the dealer network in general.
More about the Role
You will be required to maintain ethical standards in accordance with Daimler AG policies and the company »s compliance guidelines including Anti-Bribery and all relevant competition law. You will manage sales administration; support the vehicle sale on autoline and vehicle dispatch. You will provide administrative support for the sales team with the day-to-day operational issues and the loading of vehicle specifications on the remarketing platforms.
You will ensure the vehicles have the correct documentation for when the vehicles are sold and released. You will determine sold vehicles sale status (+/-CAP Average), raise invoice and ensure the vehicle dispatch process is compiled with. You will prepare a vehicle dispatch pack, obtain vehicle release authorisation. Arrange with the customer for the vehicle to be prepared for and or arrange delivery / collection. You will also manage the release of document process.
You will assist and support the remarketing administrator with the remarketing and vehicle return processes when workload require and to cover holidays and sickness. Conduct regular review of IT systems and vehicle flow processes to ensure best practice. Review of IT systems and vehicle flow processes to ensure best practice.
Review the display of stock on the remarketing platforms for online sales and photo uploads. Ensure vehicles are displayed accurately and with consistency of descriptions. Ensure greater levels of teamwork with particular focus on the admin team and ensure all tasks remain covered during absences. Analysis and preparation of used sales reports and used market reports to distribute to internal and external stakeholder. There will also be general administration duties including a compilation of vehicle document checklist and provision of cover workshop administrator.
About You
You will be educated ay GCSE level with experience of Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Autoline experience is an advantage. The ability to communicate effectively in a polite and professional manner. The ability to manage your time with strong written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate high attention to detail.
