Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze circulars for NCCI and independent bureaus in order to identify product changes.
- Propose testing requirements for product changes with AVP, Product Line Manager or WC Director.
- Prepare and submit change requests and business requirement documentation to Berkley Technology to update the policy administration system for product changes. Work with the development team to resolve any system defects.
- Conduct testing for product changes and validate the policy administration system produces the correct and expected results.
- Prepare and run queries to identify policies impacted by production releases or to support Corporate Compliance; work with others, including Berkley businesses, Berkley Technology and/or Corporate Compliance to initiate appropriate actions.
- Provide a high level of customer support to the Berkley businesses, including creating technical documentation for product changes, access to NCCI and independent bureaus, allocation of expenses for shared products and payment of bureau or workers compensation administrator department fines.
- Assist the AVP, Product Line Manager with managing fifty-one jurisdictional relationships with various boards and bureaus, including NCCI, independent rating bureaus and other administrators of workers compensation.
- Prepare and distribute monthly reports to various constituents.
- Conduct research to identify and compare competitor product filings to support underwriting and product development personnel within the Berkley businesses.
- Review quality assurance metrics, identify areas for process improvement, recommend solutions and work with others, if needed to implement changes.
- Ensure adequate controls are in place to identify and track responsibilities for product changes throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Manage assigned projects, including the planning, communication and coordination with other areas to ensure completion on time and quality results.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in underwriting, product development, compliance or other P&C related experience, preferably with workers compensation product experience.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
