Job Description
Are you a Quality Inspector with expertise working within a manufacturing environment? Interested in working within a modern-day engineering facility? Quality Inspector responsibilities include –
- Work on final inspection activities, using handheld inspection tools.
- Generate first-article inspection reports (FAIRs).
- Manage any quality issues and liaise with the manufacturing team accordingly.
- Assist with calibration of internal measuring equipment.
- Support Customer and Third-Party Audits.
- Liaise with other staff on site helping to drive continuous improvement.
Quality Inspector desirable skills and experience –
- Experience working within a similar position (Quality Control)
- Able to read and work from technical information.
- Able to use standard inspection tools – vernier »s micrometers, etc.
- Basic understanding of CMM (not a requirement).
- Relevant mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or training.
