Job Description
Job Summary:
Supports Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) related functions including processing requests for information (RFI). Communicates directly with customers in a professional manner to obtain information and supporting documents as part of enhancing the Customer Profile and Know Your Customer (KYC) activities. Delivers high-quality customer service to our external customers and partners.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contacts permissible customers via telephone or email, or partners with Relationship Managers, to obtain information in a timely manner. Reviews RFI content with applicable team members prior to contacting customers or engaging with frontline partners to ensure RFI requirements are effectively communicated. Ensures customer satisfaction by responding promptly to any customer inquiries.
- Utilizes internal systems and programs to track and monitor customer communications and processes associated paperwork. Creates detailed documentation to ensure RFIs are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Conducts preliminary review of final responses received from customers or partners. Provides follow-up contact if additional information is needed. Maintains awareness of required customer follow-up, timeliness, and work assignment completion rates.
- Assists team members with various assignments or activities such as preparing case folders, performing counter party research, internet research, updating customer profiles, and with gathering information or other data as needed. Completes all required bank related compliance training.
- Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
- Two years of related experience or training.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations
- Proficiency using applicable programs, systems, and databases
- Strong customer service and telephone etiquette skills
- Skill conveying information in a receptive manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to write reports and business correspondence
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office software products
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Financial services/banking industry experience is preferred
