Product Governance and Distribution Assistant Vice President
London
As a Barclays Product Governance and Distribution AVP, you will own key distribution related activities, such as distribution/platform agreement negotiations, regulatory filings, and interacting with external counsel. You will deal with Fund queries from Fund board members, suppliers and clients. Barclays Fund Products is responsible for circa £10bn AUM across 54 active, passive, and multi-manager funds. The team develops, monitoring, reporting, governance, distribution, and legal documentation production of Barclays manufactured funds.

What will you be doing?
• Acting as key individual ensuring the business maintains the highest levels of governance in each jurisdiction we operate (UK,Ireland and Luxembourg)
- Managing relationships with UK, EU and Asian distribution channels and third-party platforms and driving fund registration activity
- Working closely with Legal, Compliance and External Counsel
- Operating key oversight and control forums delivering oversight of key infrastructure partners
- Providing investor communications and distribution support within the internal funds team
- Engaging with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders such as our Third Party Administrator and marketing services agents
- Assisting in management of transfer agent related activities, remediation projects and operational due diligence
What we’re looking for:
• An understanding of Funds/Asset Management business/Third Party Administration
- Solid communication skills, including the ability to negotiate at a senior level and to successfully chair meetings with senior stakeholder’s present
- Good presentation skills including the ability to articulate, convey concepts and ideas to senior audiences and to represent the Funds team at relevant forums and ExCos
- Planning and analytical skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Previous experience with Fund distribution and Registrations in multiple jurisdictions
- Proven experience with investment fund products, particularly UCITS
- Worked in Project management and implementation of change
- Experience in managing research and insight for inclusion in presentations and internal analysis projects
