Would you like to join one of the largest providers of communications and IT solutions across the UK as a Sales Specialist Team Leader? Your key objectives will be to support in the day-to-day management and running of the team. As Team Leader you will be responsible for the leadership of the Junior Sales Specialist team. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to, Coaching, Development, Field Accompaniments, Forecasting, pipeline Building, Activity and 121’s.

About the role…
- Supporting with coaching & development
- Accompaniment of client meetings with specialists
- Collaborating with other Sales Team Managers / Team Leaders to achieve a cohesive and successful working relationship between teams
- Work with multi-functional teams on specific projects focusing on improving business efficiency
- Coordinate development and training within the teams to ensure that all members are developing their own career as well as their capability of identifying and converting new business
- Ensure that the team understand and are committed to the strategic direction and are selling business-focused solutions.
- Work closely with Marketing and Daisy Tower heads to effectively contribute and build a Sales Strategy
- Ensure all orders are clearly documented within the business in line with current policy and that customer’ expectations are understood and can be met
- Training & mentoring the Junior Sales Specialists
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders, internally with our third parties and our customers
- Promote the key specialist areas within the Daisy Group to drive new cross sell activity
- Monitor sales activities, ensuring that all new sales fit with the strategic direction
- Build and utilise strong working relationships within internal stakeholders to drive activity to support Sales Specialist objectives
- Plan and chair team collaboration sessions to instil a sense of identity and community that aspires for a collective goal. This includes weekly kick off calls and team meetings.
- Accurately manage and report sales forecasts using relevant company systems
- Responsible for supporting resource allocation and team planning
- Provide monthly management reports for the Sales Leadership team
- Manage and update customer and opportunity records on relevant company systems
- Regular 121’s and mentoring
- Undertake assignments as required by the business that drive growth or improve customer experience
What do we need from you?
- Be Ambitious, focused and goal orientated
- Be Flexible and adapt to change with a drive to self-improve Extensive sales experience within the UK technology marketplace
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows in parallel, often with changing requirements and priorities.
- A strong understanding of the IT Solutions market marketplace
- Experience in leadership and mentoring Sales teams
- Sales experience within/or understanding of the services within DCS portfolio
- Exhibit an ability to learn quickly and pass this acquired knowledge on to others
- Understand customer business objectives and map these to relevant technology solutions
- Accurately forecast monthly commitment
- Ideally well versed in Microsoft Excel, Salesforce and PowerPoint
- Able to set goals and standards of performance in order to achieve short-, medium- and long-term objectives
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Support colleagues and works to deliver for the team rather than the individual
- Exceptional numeric skills and a keen attention to detail
