Job Description

Our Programme Advisory team is led by a team of experts in the set-up, transition and transformation of major programmes and projects both in the UK and globally, with a market-leading client base across the public and private sectors. As part of our growth in this area, together with working on many iconic and significant projects, we are seeking to recruit Consultants with experience in Organisational Effectiveness and People Development to support our clients in setting up or transforming their major programmes. You will need some experience in organisational change programmes focussing on the effective design of organisations, managing organisational change programmes and organisational development activity. Job Description

  • Clearly demonstrate through your experience and knowledge, the common external factors and key triggers that drive organisational change and relate this to the client context
  • Understand the client’s business model and operating environment to create tailored solutions that will assist the transformation requirements
  • Integrate best practice organisational design and effectiveness principles into the design and delivery of transformation programmes
  • Understand the people elements of an organisation and how they can enhance organisational performance
  • Deliver high quality client work, working with colleagues to offer well rounded solutions
  • Design and contribute to key activities within the Programme Advisory team including internal development work, creating and enhancing methodologies and toolkits
  • Work within multi-disciplinary teams, to act as an advocate of Turner & Townsend on client site
  • Build strong working relationships with a focus on client care utilising excellent communication and influencing skills to support clients through their challenges and support successful realisation of outcomes

Qualifications

  • Some experience of organisation design and development aligning strategy to structure and relevant activity to increase performance
  • Some experience of programme or project management within the HR / O&D function
  • Some experience of cultural change and or using cultural diagnostic methodologies and tools
  • Organisational change experience, particularly in designing and implementing people change initiatives such as change impact and readiness assessments, transition planning, L&D analysis, consultation strategy and planning, staff engagement and communications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building effective working relationships at senior/executive level
  • Some experience in bid writing, business case development and proposal development working alongside senior management
  • Strong experience in your specific discipline either in a consulting environment or in-house consulting role involving major programmes
  • Experience in some or all of the following sectors will be viewed favourably, infrastructure, transportation, utilities, commercial, government, natural resources and real estate.
  • Robust and methodical analytical skills, adaptable and a team player to work as part of a growing business unit.
