Job Description
Due to expansion, we are currently seeking to increase our IT Services’ team and are looking for driven and experienced IT professionals.
The Role:
The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that the company »s SharePoint Online environment is developed and deployed in line with best practice and business needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the environment; monitoring, auditing, and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency.
Key Responsibilities are (but not limited to):
Sharepoint Management
- Creating sites, managing permissions, integrating applications, lists and creating libraries.
- Performing maintenance on LSTM’s intranet, SharePoint sites and Teams sites.
- Providing SharePoint support and end-user training
- Reviewing usage, activity reports and making adjustments to ensure optimized user-experiences.
- Keeping up to date with SharePoint developments and migrating content.
Responding to Change
- Lead SharePoint projects and migrations, undertake workstream activities and liaise with peer and supervisory team members
- Lead and contribute towards medium and long term coordinated planning based on LSTM’s objectives to keep the organisation up to date with developments in SharePoint technologies.
- Assist with the implementation of major developments and projects undertaken by the IT Services department.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Possession of or studying towards BTEC Level 3 Diploma in related discipline (or equivalent) or 3 years relevant experience.
- At least 2 years » experience as a SharePoint administrator using SharePoint modern and SharePoint 2013
- Good working knowledge of M365 services, including Microsoft 365 apps for Enterprise, Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams
- Excellent knowledge of SharePoint tools, including SharePoint admin centre, workflows, display templates, publishing infrastructure and SharePoint forms for tasks
