About Lapland
Based on the original stories of Mike and Alison Battle ‘Lapland’, the show, is a ground-breaking immersive theatrical production that brings to life the mythical elven world of Father Christmas. Lapland celebrates the wonderment of childhood through our magical world, rich story telling & memory making experiences.
Role – Magic Elves
Magic Elves are a highly interactive, guest-facing‘ in-world’ role and escort families to Father Christmas, sharing Lapland stories along the way! They also welcome families into Father Christmas » woodland cabin, taking photographs during the visit, and ensuring that guests have the most magical of experiences.
Where is Lapland?
Lapland is based in Whitmoor Forest, in Crown Estate on Swinley Road, Winkfield Row near Ascot SL5 8BD.
Key Dates
- E-LEARNING: You will be required to complete e-Learning prior to starting your in-person training.
- PAID TRAINING: Your training plan will vary depending on your role. Training will take place on select dates between the end of October 2002 and the beginning of November 2022.
- LIVE EVENT: In 2022 Lapland will run from Thursday 10th November – Saturday 24th December.

People often ask how Jennie came by the name. Bayley & Sage is in fact named partly after the son of a friend, as an homage to the next generation and combined it with sage, as reference to both the herb and wisdom. Bayley & Sage was born! Thirteen years later the second store was established in Parsons Green. The desire to sell great food to the people of London gained pace and more store openings followed. You can now find us in Wimbledon Village, Parsons Green, Turnham Green, Fulham, Battersea, Wandsworth, Chelsea and Belgravia. A Distribution Centre, a Production Kitchen, a Central Hub, and a homeware store Abode to complement our food offering were added to the estate by the end of 2021.
