The Supply Chain / Procurement Coordinator is a role that combines maintenance duties with administrative tasks related to parts ordering and inventory management, as well as support for factory safety initiatives. The Maintenance inventory Specialist helps to facilitate the timely flow of materials, equipment and tools for the efficient operation of the print room and facilities of Spoonflower. Interpersonal duties are also part of the role in order to meet the expectations of the team and our customers.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Order and maintain inventory for the Maintenance team, working closely with supply vendors and managing tracking and sourcing of parts needed for the factory
- Maintain detailed records of parts inventory and perform data analytics to help the business optimize performance.
- Assist with researching and implementing software strategies for managing inventory, machine performance and maintenance actions
- Develop and maintain mechanical, pneumatic and electrical repair skills for all production equipment
- Assist with installation and maintenance of printers and production equipment according to specifications and procedures
- Perform adjustments to equipment as needed to ensure output adheres to quality specifications, and assist with investigation/remedies for causes of equipment impairment that lead to quality issues
- Keep detailed records of maintenance actions and work with the Maintenance Manager to analyze machine data with the aim of understanding mean time between failures and identification of preventive maintenance actions that contribute to equipment uptime
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as outlined by the Maintenance Manager, and assist with training of operations staff on routine maintenance tasks and support this team in regard to troubleshooting equipment issues
- Assist the EHS Manager by learning and following practices related to applicable government regulations including OSHA and EPA and support factory teams in following these practices
- Participate and support the EHS manager in factory safety initiatives and programs including Hazard Communication (SDS documentation), machinery safety and reporting safety issues.
- Participate in regularly scheduled Safety Committee meetings
- Maintain a positive working relationships with colleagues and vendors
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at Spoonflower’s discretion.
The Skills You’ll Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Excel a must
- Basic computer literacy for operation of our internal and shipping software, and admin functions using iPads and computers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
