Job Summary

This role performs writing, research, and editing functions to support publications, materials and presentations.

Job Responsibilities

• Generate content / materials and provide writing / editorial support for publications, events and projects
• Collaborate in related presentations, reports and briefs to stakeholders and trainees
• Compile statistics, key numbers and information for publication and dissemination
• Ensure proper grammatical use and consistent standards across teams
• Develop and maintain documentation templates and guidelines
• Ensure physical and electronic documentation management
• Review literature and synthesize findings

Required Education and Experience

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Technical Writing, English, or related field

Required Experience: Three (3) years of writing and editing experience

Preferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic

Preferred Experience: Five (5) years of writing and editing experience

Additional Technical Requirements

• Intermediate proficiency with word processing software (Microsoft Word)
• Intermediate proficiency with document management software (Adobe Acrobat)
• Intermediate knowledge of writing styles including research, scientific (AMA) and/or press (AP) styles
• Basic knowledge of scientific. academic and medical topics
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
