Job Description

Cardinal Shehan School, located in Baltimore, is seeking candidates for a full-time Administrative Assistant.

The Administrative Assistant is often the face of the school environment, he or she interacts with faculty, students, parents, administration and visitors at every level, every day.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the principal and teaching staff as directed
  • Educate prospective families about financial responsibilities and potential aid available
  • Maintain all recordkeeping for students
  • Communicate effectively
  • Perform data entry

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED. Some college preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
  • Must have an appreciation and understanding of Catholic school education
