Job Description
Art Teacher
The Keota Community School District is seeking a full time K-12 Art Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Demonstrates the ability to enhance academic performance.
- Demonstrates competence in content knowledge appropriate to the teaching position.
- Demonstrates competence in planning and preparing for instruction.
- Uses strategies to deliver instruction that meets the multiple learning needs of students.
- Uses effectives classroom management strategies.
- Works collaboratively with other educational and community professionals.
- Engages in professional growth.
- Attends work on a consistent and punctual basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- State of Iowa teaching license
- K-8 Art (113) endorsement
- 5-12 Art (114) endorsement
