Job Description

Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in New York, NY. Experienced Designer on the Transaction Banking Digital team responsible for blending B2B digital design experience strategy with execution. Build out our user experience and customer journey maps for Transaction Banking products. Continually research and evaluate relevant market, industry and landscape trends to identify potential user experience enhancements. Develop our research function that will help teams to define, guide and analyze client research that guides us to break-through opportunities. Monitor the competitor space for signs of innovation and proactively facilitate conversations to find opportunities to advance our digital presence and experience. Coordinate with partner teams (Securities and Asset Management) to ideate on requirements through design, share learnings, and identify areas of synergy. Design, facilitate, and analyze workshops to effectively and efficiently align on experiential concepts. Collaborate with functional SMEs (technology, legal, finance, banking) to articulate business impact, level of effort and cost/benefit of identified user experience opportunities. Concept, prototype and test prioritized opportunities with support when and as necessary (technology, research, etc.). Regularly share relevant trends with the larger partnership team to help keep us sharp and provide maximum value to our partners and customers. As needed, lean into current release design work to guide successful implementation. Play an active role—in partnership with our engineering team—to deliver features that are near term and far term. Working with collaborators to conduct usability testing to ingest findings into current sprints, support marketing needs that can further extend the TxB brand and provide support to the sales team for mockups.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Fine Arts, Communication Design, Product Design, Strategic Design and Management, Human Centered Design or related field. Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include four (4) years of experience with: utilizing design programs, including Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and FIGMA; working as a Product Manager or with Product Manager to gather requirements and create user experiences; communicating and working with Engineers to determine if a design can be modified based on its technical limitations; working with a financial company or a vertical equivalent and incorporating the complexities of a financial company into design plans; taking notes and tracking changes as part of the project management cycle; and presenting in front of technical and non-technical staff and communicating the rationale for design decisions.

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100,000/year – $160,000/year. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
