Job Description
I am working with a modern, forward thinking firm of Accountants based outside of Tunbridge Wells. They have a real focus on delivering outstanding service to their clients and have grown significantly as a result – mainly through recommendations and work of mouth. As a result of this continued success, they are now looking for a Bookkeeping & Payroll Supervisor to join their growing team.
Reporting to the Director, you will oversee a small team and your responsibilities will include:
- Tracking work and ensuring that it is being completed within deadlines
- Reviewing and filing VAT returns
- Supporting the team and dealing with queries relating to bookkeeping and payroll
- Working with clients to ensure all relevant information/documentation is provided and helping with any queries
- Doing weekly/monthly bookkeeping for clients as required
- Covering Payroll when needed
Applicants will need to have recent Bookkeeping experience – ideally gained within an Accountancy Practice but candidates from industry will also be considered. Experience of Payroll would be highly beneficial. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
