Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of a comprehensive annual fundraising plan which responds to the defined needs of the foundations and supported organizations.
  • Manages and oversees professional fundraising and support staff and is the Foundation lead with Board and community leaders in growing financial and public relations support for the associated supported organization(s)
  • Directs and oversees the receipt of charitable gifts their financial stewardship and their ultimate distribution to the hospital and related entities to ensure continuous support of the foundation and supported organization(s) mission.
  • Acts as the senior major gifts and planned giving officer actively managing a portfolio of prospects and donors meeting regularly with donors and prospects to create and foster relationships.

Qualifications


Education and Experience:
  • Masters degree in a related field or a combination of education and/or additional job-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of not-for-profit fundraising and development experience. Minimum of five (5) years of management experience.
Licensure:
  • Certification as a Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) preferred.
