About The Role
Key Accountabilities
- Cleaning of the warehouse following the specified cleaning schedule
- To ensure that all calls requesting a cleaner are responded to in an efficient manner
- To ensure that the cleaning stations all contain clean mops and clean water
- To ensure that the compactors are emptied in accordance with the manufacturers recommended guidelines
- Compactor area to be cleaned at the end of the shift
- All cardboard cages to be emptied and returned to their place within the warehouse
- Any failures to follow or complete the cleaning schedule to be brought to the attention of the Duty Manager
- To ensure that the cleaning schedule is signed off by the Duty manager or Supervisor at the end of shift
- To ensure that any equipment failures are brought to the immediate attention of the Duty Manager
- All aspects of Health & Safety must be followed
- Any other reasonable task requested by management.
About You
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Essential
High Visual Accuracy
Good verbal communication skills
Basic written communication skills
Basic Numeracy and Literacy
Desirable
Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable
