Job Description

Due to a large order book our client requires additional staff and is currently looking for CNC Millers who have previous experience with programming, setting, and operating with Fanuc and HAAS controls.
Based in LEEDS, just a few miles from the M62 and M1 motorways, the successful CNC Miller will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Wakefield, Bradford, Cleckheaton, Dewsbury, Castleford, Pontefract, Huddersfield and Halifax.
Key Responsibilities of the CNC Miller will include:
- Operating a Vertical Machining Centre with FANUC controls to produce components & parts for use on internal projects
- Creating new & bespoke programmes as well as optimizing old programmes where applicable
- Working directly from engineering drawings and work instruction to ensure that components are produced to specification
Working Hours of the CNC Miller:
37 Hours per week, spread across 4 Nights per week
Monday – Thursday
21:30 PM – 07:15 AM
In return, the CNC Miller will receive:
- Annual salary: £38,747 / £20.14 per hour (£15.49 + SA)
- Holiday entitlement: 28 Days per annum including public holidays
- Statutory pension contribution after 3 months
- Permanent employment with a growing organisation
