Job Description
RIS is currently seeking a Field Service Representative to provide technical field support at CONUS locations. CONUS or home base location will be at Creech AFB, NV. System level training will also be conducted in McKinney, TX. For this Field Engineering position, you must have experience in conducting technical analysis of product functionality, modifications, and enhancements to product in accordance with customer specifications and configuration. Be able to troubleshoot technical problems and issues. Must possess knowledge of infrared, electro-optical weapons systems and have familiarity with conventional electronic troubleshooting techniques. You must be experienced and familiar with the tools and test equipment commonly used in electronic installation, maintenance and testing. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and have the ability to represent RIS as the initial interface with external customers and ensure customer schedules are met. Candidate may also be called upon to assume additional leadership roles and at times work with little or no direct supervision and is the point of contact to RIS program management.
Candidate must currently hold an active SECRET Clearance and have the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance.
Required Skills:
- Experience with maintaining and using the Multi-spectral Targeting System (MTS) sensor
- Must possess knowledge of infrared, electro-optical weapons systems and have familiarity with conventional electronic troubleshooting techniques.
- Experienced and familiar with the tools and test equipment commonly used in electronic installation, maintenance, and testing.
- Experience in conducting technical analysis of product functionality, modifications, and enhancements to product in accordance with customer specifications and configuration.
- Be able to troubleshoot technical problems and issues.
- Strong organizational skills with ability provide accurate, concise reports.
- Must possess excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- MQ9 Aircraft and GCS experience is preferred.
- MMIS data base entry
Education/Experience:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. Additional work experience may be substituted for Bachelor »s degree.

The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 to $152,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
