Location: Birstall & Home / Hybrid role

Would you like to join one of the largest providers of communications and IT solutions across the UK as a HR Advisor? You will be responsible for providing business focused operational HR service providing advice and support, managing employee relations cases.

Job Description

About the role…

You will be providing full support, advice and guidance on all employee relations matters including general enquiries; employment law; procedures; disciplinary & grievances or absence issues. You will be guiding and influencing line managers to ensure fairness and consistency in decision making. You will be required to build effective working relationships with staff at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice. And, ensuring effective monitoring of sickness trends and taking remedial action in accordance with the Company’s policy and to facilitate a proactive approach to absence management.

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • CIPD qualified or part qualified with previous experience in an operational HR role.
  • Strong employee relations experience and a full understanding of current employment legislation.
  • Previous experience of managing a variety of cases simultaneously.
  • You must hold a full UK driving license as travel to other offices will sometimes be required
