Job Description
Market-leading organisation require an Indirect Buyer (Facilities) to manage a £5M spend across FM (hard and soft). Ideally applicants will have facilities, indirect or building refurbishment/maintenance procurement experience.
The Indirect Buyer (Facilities) will work closely with stakeholders in the facilities team and be responsible for procurement across all FM spend categories, including refurbishment/small construction projects. This is an exciting, hands-on procurement role offering the job holder a fantastic blend of strategic and operational tasks.
Specific duties of the Indirect Buyer (Facilities) include:
- Supply market intelligence activities across soft and hard facilities management landscape
- Running tender processes, cradle-to-grave
- Stakeholder engagement
- Supplier and contract management
- Support process improvement and change activities within procurement function
Indirect Buyer (Facilities) applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Some strategic procurement skills – negotiation, SRM, contract management, supplier selection etc
- Ideally some FM, maintenance/refurbishment, or generalist indirect procurement experience
- Excellent relationship and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable with hybrid working
- Desire/willingness to study CIPS
