Job Description
6m FTC, with the possibility to extend to 12m.
Office working three days per week, home working two days per week. Travel will be required on the days you’re based in the office.

How can you change it up?
Our SHE Team are vital in ensuring the safety, health environment, and quality of our network delivery operations. You’ll be joining a specific project, working to ensure policies, procedures, and safe systems of work are in place to support new areas of work for CityFibre. Day to day, these are some of the things you can expect to be doing:
- Carrying out a gap analysis on SHE management systems for the project – prioritising improvements
- Developing the SHE management systems, policies and procedures
- Supporting new activities associated with the project, ensuring emerging risks are recognised and controlled
- Undertaking initial audits on project activities with the Team Leaders to provide coaching around active monitoring requirements
- Coaching Team Leaders on incident investigation ensuring they are carried out to a high standard, identifying root cause and making recommendations to the business
- Working with project staff to investigate High Urgency events which will be presented at the Incident Review Board
What you’ll bring to the role
You’ll be a driven and passionate person, with experience working in telecommunications or a utility associated construction industry, who can confidently act as a SHE subject matter expert across the project. You’ll also bring the following:
- Construction NEBOSH Certificate
- Excellent policy and procedure writing skills
- Understanding of CDM 2015 Regulations and application during differing stages of design and construction
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
