Job Description
Monitors inventory levels ensuring that all products are in stock and available for distribution in the warehouse. Compiles inventory information such as consumption rate, value, and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. Notifies manager if levels are low. Trains new and existing teammates in department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Monitors stock levels and customer demands.
- Performs daily stock counts.
- Handles inventory transfers between divisions.
- Resolves complex problems and discrepancies in timely manner.
- Trains less experienced teammates in Inventory Control.
- Other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 or more years work experience in inventory control
- Knowledge of complex warehouse and inventory control procedures.
- Experience with Excel, Word, and inventory control systems.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Office Environment
- Warehouse environment (Freezer, Cooler and/or Dry)
