The position of Shop Mechanic consists of the ability to perform routine maintenance, repair hydraulic equipment/pumps, and reassemble and reinstall components. The responsibilities would be to ensure records are kept up to date of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used.

Job Responsibilities:
Assemble, maintain, and repair hydraulic equipment and pumps.
Perform routine maintenance, such as lubricating and replacing parts.
Reassemble and reinstall components and small engines following repairs.
Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with leadership.
Test and inspect engines and other equipment for malfunctioning parts.
Repair or replace worn, defective or broken parts.
Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used.
Perform preventative maintenance works such as checking oil and fluid levels on all equipment.
Repair and maintain equipment used in the fabrication and manufacture of steel products.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What is required to join our team as a Shop Mechanic:
3-5 years’ experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance of small equipment for gas and hydraulic equipment. Experience with assembling and/or repair of hydraulic equipment and pumps highly desired.
High school diploma, GED or trade experience preferred.
