Job Description

About the Role

Derby Road Practice is looking to welcome a full-time paramedic into their busy practice, to provide a high-quality, cost-effective service to their patients; diagnosing and prescribing treatments and medication while working within defined procedures and protocols as laid out by the GPs.

The post-holder will be responsible for seeing patients on-site, occasionally visiting patients in their place of residence, who present with a wide range of minor illness, urgent and same day requests for treatment and chronic disease management; providing care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.

About the Candidate

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Registered Paramedic with HCPC
• Experience of dealing with vulnerable patients

Desirable qualifications, skills and experience:

• Advanced clinical practitioner or advanced level functional assessment qualification
• Evidence of working in a community/primary care setting
