About the Role

Suffolk Primary Care is looking to recruit a paramedic, to provide a high-quality, cost-effective service to patients within the Stowmarket locality: diagnosing and prescribing treatments and medication, while working within defined procedures and protocols as laid down by the GPs.

The post holder will be responsible for:

• seeing patients on-site and occasionally visiting patients in their place of residence, who present with a wide range of minor illness, urgent and same day requests for treatment, and chronic disease management
• providing care for the presenting patient, from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.

About the Candidate

If you are an experienced paramedic wanting a change in your career, we would love to hear from you.

You will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Be a registered paramedic with HCPC
• Experience of dealing with vulnerable patients
• Experience of working in a community/primary care setting is desirable
• Advanced clinical practitioner or advanced level functional assessment qualification is desirable
