Job Description

General Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities and accountabilities are:

Support the Air France partnership team at Hertz in the execution of the annual marketing plan for all group partners, for both car rental and transfer services (Hertz DriveU).

Promotional campaign creation and implementation – that form part of annual marketing plan and to support business needs. Liaising with pricing and revenue management teams, development of creative and content briefs, liaising with design and operational marketing teams for execution, managing briefs with Hertz Engine, Hertz corporate and franchise markets and communication with relevant internal stakeholders, etc.

Tracking of all promotional campaigns and working with analytics team to analyse data and results using output to make any necessary changes in future campaigns. Running ad-hoc reports using Cognos, Google Analytics and other data tools for bespoke requests and providing monthly data for performance reporting as needed.

Ensure optimal customer journey for all partners. Identify any gaps and content improvements to ensure improved CX via all touch points through the entire customer journey from research to post trip, to ensure maximum exposure for the Hertz and Hertz DriveU brands and to generate maximum revenue.

Regular audit of booking platforms for Air France and Flying Blue, plus audit of microsites for accuracy of content and display.

Supporting AF partnership team with event management (internal & external) and preparation of supporting POS & marketing materials.

Day to day responsibility for processing of AF Group invoices and liaising with accounting for any payment queries.

Ensure monthly reporting, both internally and externally with Air France, to monitor the partnership performance.

Improve business processes and streamline distribution systems.

Internal communications – support manager to inform and engage all stakeholders including SMT, operations, sales, marketing, HESC, international and franchise markets

Liaison between Hertz partnership and digital teams and AF social/digital teams to optimise all opportunities for exposure and promotion of key campaigns and messages. This to include the creation of campaigns to drive traffic to booking sites, increase conversion and generate revenue, and create customer experience.

Regular review of competitor activity, especially for Flying Blue (multi supplier relationship) and monitor, track and feedback all other partner activity, alerting partnership team to any significant changes or major campaign activity that may have a detrimental impact on Hertz and Hertz DriveU.

Be ready to take a proactive approach to optimising last-minute visibility to support business needs.

Work with our global regions and colleagues to ensure maximum exposure of these partnerships in all main source and destinations markets via appropriate Hertz channels and engage with local teams to ensure they are fully appraised of all activity and ongoing plans to optimise local/regional revenue.

Essential Requirements:

Educational Background:

A degree or business qualification/diploma in marketing and sales.


Professional Experience:

Experience in an online, offline or digital marketing team. A background of working with an international travel brand would be an advantage and experience of working in an international environment also a plus. Any knowledge of partnerships as a distribution channel or experience in creating marketing plans and executing marketing and promotional campaigns, sales activities, etc., an advantage. Understanding and identification of the online (and offline) customer journey and delivering a positive customer experience is required. The ability to track, analyse and report data is key. Target driven with the ability to maximise conversion and revenue from every touch point.


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • International experience an advantage
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven, business unit
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French – verbal and written
  • Experience of content management systems a significant advantage along with knowledge of digital analytical tools such as Google Analytics
  • Creative and innovative – always looking for new ways to differentiate Hertz
  • Comfortable and adaptable working with and presenting to different levels of management within a diverse range of departments
  • Target driven and passionate about achieving results

Essential:
  • French speaker – either a French national or fluent in French – mandatory
  • Knowledge of digital best practice including social and mobile marketing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project
