Parts Apprenticeship Scheme 2023
OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE – ASHFORD & STROOD (KENT)
(Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) required in Maths and English)
Channel Commercials PLC is a leading commercial vehicle dealer providing sales, parts and servicing for DAF Trucks, Maxus light commercial vehicles and vans in the South-East.
Our 18 month apprenticeship scheme will enable you to train to become a fully qualified Parts Person. The programme consists of in-house and on-line training.
You will learn to:
- Take, process and execute orders from technicians and customers over the phone and face to face
- Identify and supply parts including sourcing non-franchise parts
- Process deliveries including checking against advice notes
- Handle warehouse stock, including picking of parts and carrying out stock control/checks
- Invoice and credit parts
- Receive and process parts from advice notes
- Carry out ad hoc deliveries etc.
- Maintain a safe working environment
40 hour week Monday – Friday

Successful candidates:
- Must achieve a minimum GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Will be hard working and committed to succeed with the Apprenticeship
- Have the ability to complete work to deadlines and follow instructions
- Will be honest, trustworthy and willing to learn
- Have a positive attitude and be motivated to progress and develop their skills
- Are interested and passionate about becoming a Parts Person
