Our approach to flexible working
We care about work that works, whether that’s about where you work or adjusting your hours to fit better with your life. Our flexible working practices, including our hybrid working model where you can split your working time between the office and your home, support our belief that this balance brings long-lasting benefits for our business as well as ensuring that our people can balance successful careers with their commitments and interests outside of work. So that you can love where you work, please discuss what works for you with your recruiter during the hiring process.
Accepting you, for you.
We want you to feel accepted for who you are and to feel safe, valued and to help us build a culture of true belonging. Experian is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and we take affirmative action to create a more inclusive and equitable world of work. We are committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marital status, race, ethnicity, faith or belief, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, Veteran status or whether you’re pregnant or on family leave.
We’re looking for a Product Designer that wants to shape the user experience for millions of people that use our products to take control of their finances. We are in the midst of the cost-of-living crisis and want to use your product design skills to solve important problems for much of the UK, and to improve their financial wellbeing.
We are looking for someone who loves finding creative ways to solve design challenges and improve the customer experience. Someone who has passion for great design and working collaboratively with colleagues from across product, tech, and fellow designers to solve customer problems.
From conducting user research through to creating high-fidelity designs ready for development, you’ll be involved in every aspect of the product design & development process.
As part of a wider 20-strong product design & research team, you will work in agile cross-functional teams, collaborating with product manager, product owners, developers, and other designers to deliver an excellent customer experience. It’s a great environment to develop and grow your skills within a dynamic and exciting team.
Day to day, the role will involve understanding our users and turning research into ideas, conceptualizing original ideas to meet user and business needs, lots of sketching (out ideas) and designing workflows and detailed interactions that brings the experience to life. You will be creating prototypes in Figma and conducting concept & usability testing to validate ideas, working closely with engineers as they build and release and finding creative ways to optimise current user journeys.
We »re looking for someone who has a clear understanding of human-centred design and design thinking, and how they are applied to problem solving, who can design effective user interfaces and can justify your design decisions.
This will come from a broad set of design skills across all aspects of the design from research, human-centered design, prototyping, to visualization, and a drive to keep up with the emerging digital trends and culture.
You will have an understanding of current design & research tools (Figma, Mural, Userzoom) and the drive to learn new ones, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills and can clearly articulate design thinking and key insights.
If you have experience in Financial Services and an understanding of working in an agile environment that would be beneficial but not essential.
