Computer World Services, Corporation (CWS) is seeking an exceptional candidate to serve as Project Administrator for the NIH IT Service Desk and Desktop Support services, IT Training, and related resource services. The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative assistant support to Program Management, Engineering & Technology senior managers for our NIH IT CSPSS effort located in two locations Falls Church, VA and Bethesda, MD. Candidate should possess an elevated sense of urgency and have experience including calendar management, independent decision making, proactive responses to tasks and projects and excellent interpersonal skills including effective communication skills. Advanced level experience required with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly focused on Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Chosen candidate would be required and responsible for coordination for internal events, external customer events and team all-hands events when appropriate.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Prepare background investigation packets with new employees; track, record, and report status of all ongoing investigations.
  • Prepare graphical and narrative presentations material.
  • Maintain personnel files, prepare correspondences, schedule meetings, coordinate travel and support the development of contract deliverables.
  • Responsible for integrating the graphics generated with automated tools and the deliverable documents.
  • Maintain and retain metrics, data, and presentations.
  • Assists in the preparation of management plans and reports.
  • Coordinate schedules to facilitate completion of proposals, contract deliverables and task order reviews.
  • Performs analysis, development and review of program or functional areas, as required.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and quickly adjust to competing priorities.
  • Proofread and edit computer-based documents.
  • Responsible for acquiring products and equipment in support of program requirements; includes logistical support of all program requirements
  • Make/change travel and meeting arrangements and process expense reports.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree or higher and/or 3+ years of related experience.
  • Experience supporting US Government Contracts is a plus.
  • Experience processing government background investigations is a plus.
  • Experience supporting purchases for government customers is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to deal with executive level contacts both within and outside of the company.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective organizational and decision-making skills.

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen
  • Candidate must possess ability to pass agency suitability background investigation or be eligible to qualify for Public Trust Clearance

Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)

  • Must be able to work in both Bethesda, MD and Falls Church, VA as needed.
