Job overview

We are seeking a quality lead to work with our targeted services in our adult community mental health services.

By joining our newly formed senior leadership team you will be working with the Head of Nursing, Nurse Consultant, Operational Managers/Leads, Community Mental Health Matron & Psychology leads, becoming part of a progressive team leading new ways of working. We are in partnership with our colleagues in Primary care and collaborating with system colleagues in the Voluntary & 3rd Sector to transform how services are delivered – then this role is for you!

Main duties of the job

This is a new post in targeted and specialist mental health services which will provide a diverse and interesting experience for the post holder and will cover, Specialist perinatal mental health, Adult ADHD, Cornwall adult autism assessment service, Early intervention in psychosis, Complex emotional difficulties and AdultEating disorder services.

We have the perfect position for someone who holds quality improvement at the heart of everything that they do and who is eager to share learning with colleagues. You must have experience in delivering quality improvement projects.

This position will give you the opportunity to work closely with senior operational & clinical leaders to enhance our services and patient care. This multi-faceted role that will enable you to grow and develop new skills in quality improvement methodology, audit and clinical review.

You will work across a range of adult mental health services based in the community. This role means you will be a key member of a clinical and operational leadership team who are embarking on a system wide transformation program.

Education / Qualifications and Relevant Experience

Essential criteria
  • Education to masters level or equivalent in experience
  • Willing to identify and undertake learning as role develops
  • Experience of undertaking projects and writing reports
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working in a community mental health setting
