Job Description
The role is full time, to start ASAP and paying £203.86 Umbrella per day. The role is in scope of IR35.
JOB PURPOSE
- To provide additional capacity within Children »s Social Care to assist Recruiting Managers with all elements of recruitment. Be the first point of contact for recruitment and resourcing enquiries and advice from Recruiting Managers (Team Managers and Heads of Service) within Children »s Social Care (CSC).
- We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and enjoys working with people, to provide a flexible and fully coordinated resourcing support to Children »s Social Care under the direction of Leadership Team, working with members of the HR Team.
- Managing the end-to-end process of recruitment from the point of resignation and permission to recruit (for the budget holder) to start date for the candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities
- This is an agile, proactive and reactive role developed to assist with additional burdens and capacity. To act as first point of contact for all resourcing issues from the point of resignation to new starters joining teams.
- Provide advice and guidance on resourcing and advertising options, including agencies.
- Coordinate and administer recruitment and resourcing activity including communication with Agencies, updating and drafting Adverts and Job Descriptions to ensure consistency across the service. Support with interviews where required.
- Ensure accurate appointment and registration of agency staff (using Matrix) is coordinated with HR as per safer recruitment guidelines and all relevant clearance checks are undertaken.
- To provide accurate and accessible recruitment guidance and ensure documentation is complete and up to date on the Intranet and self-service system (iWork).
- Ensure the administration of new starters is coordinated alongside the relevant service area and Recruitment Lead within HR.
- Understanding of Right to Work, sponsorship and DBS legislation.
- Update structure charts for the whole service area with leavers and joiners on a monthly basis.
- Attend relevant recruitment fairs and events and in conjunction with the Communications Team, ensure social media is updated (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications
- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
- Experience of working in a fast-paced recruitment and or resourcing environment.
- Experience of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Excellent customer service skills and good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
