Job Description
Cardinal Shehan Catholic School, located in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking candidates for a Teacher Assistant.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist students with instruction
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times and for assisting with classroom management using PBIS (positive behavior intervention and support) protocols
- Escort students to classes, lunchroom, etc.
- Prepare teaching materials and supplies as directed by teacher

Qualifications:
- Must understand childhood development in order to assist teacher in creating a developmentally appropriate behavior management techniques in order to maximize learning for children
- Knowledge of instructional materials and equipment
- Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church
- Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals and objectives
