Job Description
We have new opportunities for Sales Warehouse Assistant roles based at our Milton Keynes store. This is an exciting opportunity, and you »ll be joining a close-knit team passionate about life at home!

CONTRACTUAL INFORMATION
- IKEA is a Living Wage Foundation Employer. The current hourly rate is £10.10 an hour, and this will increase to £10.90 an hour on 01 January 2023.
- 16 hours & 24 hours a week contract (working 3 in 4 weekends) and 39 hours a week contract (working 1 in 2 weekends).
- Shift times ordinarily begin at 08:00am at the earliest, and finish at 22:00pm at the latest.
- We operate 7 days a week and so full availability to work during the day, late evenings, and full weekends is essential.

You will ideally bring with you previous customer service experience, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves as this is a fast-paced role in our Self-Serve Warehouse where you will be working with customers and also moving stock, ensuring a clean and safe environment in the process.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY
- You will work in a physically demanding warehouse role where you will be working safely with a pallet jack, moving products, and manual handling.
- You provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
- You actively engage with our customers to identify their needs and how to inspire and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings.
- You are always passionate about the range and home furnishings, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design and actively share this with the customer.
- You support maximising sales by being proud of your areas of responsibility, ensuring the customer meets an area that is clean, well presented and easy to shop.
- You will have a combination of administrative work, meeting the customer and preparing for next day »s delivery.
