Job Description
The main purpose of the Internal Project Manager is to fully support Account and Project Managers in delivery of customer satisfaction, liaise with Account / Project Manager and internal departments to ensure orders, deliveries and stock are accurate and on time.
Supply admin and sales support to Account and Project Managers, to purchase materials at best price and within budgetary targets, to manage materials logistics to site, including progress chasing.
The role:
- Attend team meetings
- Ensure materials arrive at site at correct time and quantity
- Provide all necessary input into internal departments to ensure customer/Project Manager requirements are met
- Utilising sage completing purchase order numbers
- Taking all bespoke order enquiries and present to Pricing Dept
- Provide quotations for small order enquiries back to Account and Project Managers being able to read an estimate and establish who has placed the order
- Provide full admin support to Account and Project managers
- Manages Project Managers Diaries
- Schedules B and C Team meetings
- Places orders for all materials required as specified
- Raising quotations and picking sheets
- Progress chasing orders and quotations to ensure delivery on time and to customer satisfaction
- Negotiates best prices for materials to ensure budgeted costs achieved
Requirements for the Internal Project Manager role:
- 5 GCSE grades A/B or O Levels, including English and Maths
- Previous experience in shop fitting or similar back ground
- Familiarity with Microsoft packages
- Previous experience in sales support or customer service roles
