Job Description
Chromalloy has expanded from a gas turbine parts repair business into an OEM supplier of production parts and advanced repairs and services for gas turbines used in aviation and power applications. - Verify information on forms and paperwork of incoming and/or outgoing shipments.
- Compares identifying information, counts, weights, and/or measures of items in incoming and/or outgoing shipments to packing list.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits.
- Monitor pre-established inventory levels to determine ordering needs.
- Pull kits for assembly, fill shortages, and store incoming product in a timely manner.
- Determines method and mode of shipment to customer or supplier requirements.
- Determines labeling requirements.
- Assembles and packs product containers, prepares and affixes shipping labels on cartons identifying information for cartons, skid or other storage devices in an accurate manner.
- Prepares all shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Data entry of inventory transactions.
- Troubleshoot and research discrepancies.
- Maintain hard copy and/or electronic filing systems.
- Keep incoming and/or outgoing product flowing; to include the physical movement of inventory.
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of various practices and procedures in shipping and receiving
- Knowledge of export compliance regulations
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Problem solving abilities
- Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability

- Must have a good driving record
- Written or verbal communication with internal or external customers or suppliers as needed.
- Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment.
- General department housekeeping.
- Maintain production standards/quality.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Support and implementation of 5s standards.
- Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
- Ensures compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements.
- Performing other tasks in the facility as needed.
- Must check some of the following items: fluid levels, proper safety equipment is on board, tire pressure, functioning of the brakes, lights, windshield wipers and turn signals
- Ensure the vehicle on the back of the bed is properly loaded and secured before taking it out on the road
- Familiar with use of technology, be able to drive long distances and for extended periods of time along with having the ability to aid in the loading and unloading of cargo that he or she will transport
- Responsible to turn in any problems or repairs that need to be addressed
- Handling, delivering and pick up of product in a timely manner
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of various practices and procedures in shipping and receiving
- Knowledge of export compliance regulations

- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years job related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Aerospace industry experience a plus
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
